Common Issues
Automobile Steel Panels
  • Zinc and iron dross appear during continuous pressing

    Possible causes:

Cross section of mold tooling is too smooth

Gap between mold and steel material is too small

    Improperly lubricated

    Materials used has high friction

  • Residue appears on surface after painting
Strength of degreasing and/or rinsing chemical applied is inadequate
  • Cross sections easily rust after painting
Surface phosphate treatment was not performed
  • Blisters on surface appear after EDP
Electrical current is too high, heat drying process is too fast.
  • A pattern of lines appears on the surface once formed
Zinc and iron alloys have iron content that is too high
  • Tensile strength is inadequate after forming
Base material has insufficient tensile strength and yield strength
