Panel’s Diagonal Measurement is inaccurate according to dimensions
This may be due to inaccurate measurements on the slitting machinery. Usually if the cut panel measures 1220 mm x 2440 mm, the diagonal measurement tolerance would be +/- 1.0 mm.
Insufficient flatness on surface
Finishing process was not performed correctly and therefore unable to relieve tension stress
Poor paint adhesion
Surface may have been coated with a resin or treated with chromate acid.
Surface is not evenly flat after drawing process
This may be due to an uneven distribution of drawing pressure, insufficient tempering, or a high carbon content.
Angle of bended areas does not stay in place
Base metal has uneven carbon content to yield strength coefficient.
Metal sheet bounces back after bending
Base metal may have a high carbon content and excess tensile strength
